VBS 2006 Photo Gallery

Adventure Dates: August 6-11, 6:00-8:15 p.m.

The Hillside adventure guides planned a trek north to the Arctic Edge, where daily excursions from Big Bear Lodge had kids and teens hiking across the tundra, exploring the seascape by kayak, and skimming the backcountry in a float plane.

As kids tested their limits in the challenges of the vast Arctic wilderness, they learned that God is always with them and found the courage required to follow Jesus in the everyday challenges of their lives.

The most exciting part of the adventure was learning all the great songs and choreography that dramatized each day's adventure in the Bible.

Closing Rally

Parents were invited to attend the closing rally on Friday evening, August 11 at 6:30 p.m. The kids took part in a closing ceremony and then performed several VBS songs they learned during the week. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a hotdog and bean cookout with plenty of salads and desserts.
