Hebrews 10:25 Sundays Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.Using a quarterly study guide, we dig deep into either the Old Testament or the New Testament. The study leader focuses the discussion on each of the scripture passages in the day's lesson and interjects questions that cause one to think. The leader also encourages people to offer their own insights, comments, concerns, or questions.
Worship Service, 10:45 a.m.The first part of the service includes announcements, praise songs, hymns, prayer, and scripture reading; the second part includes the pastor's morning message, an invitation, and closing hymn.
The Lord's SupperThis is commemorated on the first Sunday of the month at the end of the Worship Service.
Note: Child care can be provided in the morning.
Wednesdays & Thursdays Wednesday Night Bible Study SeriesThe 2024 Wednesday Night Bible Study has ended as of mid-November. The schedule calls a resumption of these meetings some time in March 2025.
Thursday Night Bible Study SeriesWhile the Wednesday Night Bible Study is done until the Spring, you can attend the weekly Thursday Night Study at the home of Tom and June Cairns at 7:00 p.m. Contact them for directions.
Other Meetings and Events Business MeetingsSince Dr. Jim Robertson resigned as Pastor in June 2024 to take on an academic position at Northeast Baptist College in Bennington, VT, the congregation has held several meetings to discuss numerous issues due to the transition. Future meetings will be scheduled as needed. At the October business meeting, the major topic is the church budget for the next year. Before each meeting, we get to enjoy a good old Baptist Potluck Fellowship Dinner. Visitors are always welcome to stay for dinner and fellowship.
Christmas DinnerOn or about the second Sunday in December, we hold a Christmas Potluck Dinner. No church business is conducted so we get to enjoy each other's company and share a meal together. For 2023, it was a Lasagna Dinner including salad, hot rolls, several desserts, cider, and coffee.
