A Special Day of Fellowship

On December 7, 2024, we celebrated our fourth decade of ministering to the community. Short talks were offered by a trio of pastors. Pastor Al Page recounted the history of the church and its founding members. Dr. Jim Robertson spoke of a phone call from Pastor Al in 2005 which led him to become the new pastor and then continue serving for 19 years. Interim Pastor Tom Cairns and his wife June joined Hillside in October 2022, and Tom, an ordained minister, has been leading the congregation since August. He prayed that we continue to promote the gospel and seek God's plan for Hillside.

We were glad for visits from several former members which gave us a chance to chat and catch up on things.

Lots of Good Food, Lots of Fellowship

People got in line for the buffet style dinner. There were so many choices to make but they served themselves and then sat down to enjoy their meal.

Pastor Al had the honor of cutting the first slices while onlookers eagerly waited
for a piece to enjoy.

Many thanks to several Hillsiders who brought tasty main dishes, side dishes, salads, and desserts that made this day a blessing for all who attended.

Let us continue to seek God's plan for Hillside.
